The Live Like Liv Scholarship fund honors and celebrates the life of Liv Teverino, MHS Class of 2025.
Liv radiated joy and always had a smile on her face. She was gentle and kind to her peers and a fantastic role model for younger children. Her sweet countenance was always on display! As a junior at Marietta High School, she was a full International Baccalaureate student who was a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Student Council, one of 54 Cobb high schoolers selected to the Cobb Chamber of Commerce’s Cobb Youth Leadership program, an Assistant for The Social Class, and most importantly, served on the Fellowship of Christian Athletes leadership team. Here she shared her faith and love of the Lord.
Liv began dancing at the Georgia Dance Conservatory on the Marietta Square at the age of three. For many years she enjoyed performing various roles in the Nutcracker ballet. Once in high school, Liv began running cross-country and track. She was a member of the Marietta High School 2021 and 2022 7A Girls’ State Championship Cross-Country team. In addition, she also swam for the Lee’s Crossing Cyclones summer swim league for eight years.
The “Liv Like Liv” Scholarship honors Liv’s life and legacy and is awarded each year to a college bound senior who has exemplifies the character qualities that Liv embodied: kindness, joy, compassion, loyalty, humility, determination, and courage, as well as being seen as a leader in their class. This student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5, have participated in a sport or club at MHS, and is affiliated with a religious group of some kind, FCA, church youth group, small group, or a house of worship.
